Crime rates on the Sunshine Coast and Powell River have improved drastically within the last decade.
Nicolas Simons, MLA for Powell River-Sunshine Coast says that’s something people on the coast should be proud of.
Ministry of Justice recently released statistics which suggest the crime rates on the coast have gone down by nearly 50% the last ten years.
