No Big Surprises in Federal Budget
An honorary research associate at VIU says the federal government did a good job of table-setting for this budget.
Allan Warnke says there were no big surprises other than the Liberals would be unable to follow through on their election promise to balance the budget in the final year of their term.
Warnke says it will be interesting to watch the opposition parties react to the budget.
He figures the Conservatives will consider the spending reckless.
