Nanaimo City councillors are hoping a new governance policy smooths things over a bit.
The new policy is supposed to ensure council is on the same page when it comes to best practices for good governance.
A new spending policy basically replaces what already existed in bits and pieces throughout council documents – but puts it all in one place.
