Plans are underway to move to new digs for the Nanaimo Wellington branch of Vancouver Island Regional Library.
The lease at the current location on Barons Road expires at the end of this year.
The Nanaimo Wellington library branch is preparing to move to a newly renovated facility at the nearby Country Club Centre.
The branch serves a population of almost 21 thousand people, has eight computer stations and hosted 358 programs last year with over 9,000 participants.
The community is invited to participate in a public open house on Thursday, April 14th where officials hope to gain feedback and answer questions about the move.
