The City of Nanaimo has done a land swap with a local developer.
The exchange of property will facilitate a multi-storey parking facility and medical offices across from Nanaimo General Hospital.
The property amounts to 890 square feet of land.
The City will benefit from a new trail connection to Beaufort Park and improved landscaping in the park.
The land exchange is subject to an Alternative Approvals Process before it gets final approval.
