A magnitude 4 point 7 earthquake struck off the coast of Vancouver Island yesterday (Sat) morning.
It happened at 10:38.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey it had a depth of 20 kilometers and struck 176 kilometers south west of Port Hardy.
There was no damage recorded and no tsunami warning issued.
