British Columbia’s Liberal government is set to deliver a fourth consecutive balanced budget today with some small goodies for residents.
Some relief is said to be coming for home buyers and there may be some tweaks on medical services premiums.
NDP MLA for Nanaimo-North Cowichan Doug Routley says it would be possible to deliver a balanced budget and still help the average British Columbian, student and the disabled……
The good news is the Royal Bank is forecasting B.C.’s economy to lead Canada’s growth rate this year at 3.1 per cent and 2.9 per cent in 2017.
The B.C. government has forecast growth at 2.4 per cent this year.
