The head of BC’s Nanaimo SPCA figures they’ll be in their new building by the end of June.
Leon Davis says it looks like the builder will be finished at the site by the end of April…. ..
Davis says they didn’t expect construction, on the 74 hundred square foot building, to be done until mid to late summer.
Davis says the new shelter is being positioned a community destination and staff and SPCA supporters are excited about that& .
The new digs will feature a dog park and a large multi purpose room with plans to possibly offer yoga with dogs, wedding photography with the animal residents and possibly even a singles night.
