Starting today (Mon) the dog-off leash area in Westwood Lake Park in Nanaimo will be closed during working hours.
It’s so BC Hydro can do some powerline maintenance.
Crews will be working between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
The park will be open outside those hours for anyone who wants to use ti.
The project should be done by the end of March.
