Bragging rights for the District of Sechelt.
The District is getting an award next month at a Federation of Canadian Municipalities conference in Ottawa for its 25 million dollar water resource centre project.
Mayor Bruce Milne says it’s an award recognizing sustainability….
The project sees all of the organics being taken out of waste water stream to the point where clean water, worthy of drinking, is now being released into the Georgia Straight.
Mayor Bruce Milne suggests some other communities struggling with what to do with their waste water should consider the solution…..
