The cold weather shelter in Sechelt opened for the season November 21st and will remain open until the end of March.
Coordinator, Nora Jessom says the community has been very supportive of the shelter and she is thankful for that….
Jessom says they’ve been open from 4pm to 7am every night since November 21st and since Christmas the shelter has been operating at capacity.
Capacity is 10 beds but Jessom says they do have some extra mats available if the need arises.
