A controversial issue has been put to rest on the Sunshine Coast.
This after the town of Gibsons put the final stamp of approval on a plan to take 2 hundred and 75 thousand dollars out of the Parks Acquisition Fund and use it to help with the development of the Gibsons Public Market.
The Town’s chief administrative officer, Manny Machado says there were some people in the community who opposed the plan……
In the meantime, the fundraising campaign for the Market also hit a milestone.
The goal of the fundraising campaign is 3 million.
The money will be used to turn the Market area into a community hub.
