The Director of Vancouver Island University’s Centre for Pre-Confederation Treaties and Reconciliation says the release of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’sĀ final report yesterday was a defining moment in Canada.
Doug White says it’s time for Canada to finally grapple with the calls to action put forward by the TRC.
The stories, testimony and information gathered by the TRC over the course of its six year mandate will be housed at the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation in Winnipeg.
