Next week is officially “Elves Club Week” on the Sunshine Coast.
The Mayors of Gibsons and Sechelt made the proclamations earlier in the week, with Elves Club president Lynn Nestman on hand.
She told Councillors in Gibsons that the need seems even greater this year.
The big push for the Elves actually gets going Saturday with the annual Telethon.
It will be broadcast live from 2pm to 8pm on Coast TV, cable 10.
