Chief Garry Feschuk has decided not to run for another term when the Sechelt First Nation holds elections on February 22nd.
Feschuk says it was a difficult decision, but he wants to keep serving the community so he’s running, instead, for a Council position.
Three candidates have been nominated for Chief, former chief Calvin Craigan, Warren Paull who’s served as a Councillor in the past, and Kevin August.
