Oceanside RCMP are looking for tips after a break in at the Island Timberlands log sort on the Northwest Bay Forest Service Road.
Police say the break in was discovered when an alarm was triggered Tuesday, but there was nobody around by the time they got there.
Whoever broke in caused a lot of damage, but apparently didn’t take anything. RCMP are calling it a case of needless vandalism, and they want anyone with information to call the Oceanside detachment (250) 248-6111, or Crime Stoppers 1 (800) 222-8477.
