Joe Stanhope has been re-elected as chair of the Regional District of Nanaimo.
Stanhope represents Area G, which includes French Creek.
Nanaimo Councillor Diane Brennan was re-elected as Deputy Chair. Both were acclaimed by their fellow Directors.
The Board at the Sunshine Coast Regional District is due to elect its Chair for the coming year when they meet December 12th.
