Nanaimo RCMP say they’ve had some valuable tips as they investigate the theft of several iPads and cash from a bus belonging to an African children’s choir.
Constable Gary O’Brien says so far, though, they’ve only recovered 1of the iPads, found in a home described as “known to police”.
O’Brien says on top of the tips, they’re also getting calls from people wanting to donate to the Watoto Children’s Choir, which is on a 6 month tour of the country.
O’Brien says working from the tips they’ve been getting, police are hopeful they might be able to recover the other 5 iPads by the end of the week.
