Now that the dust has settled, Sunshine Coast RCMP are releasing details about a rowdy party they had to break up last week… and they say some people are now facing charges.
Police say they got a call around 10pm last Wednesday night about a loud gathering at the Roberts Creek Provincial Park picnic ground on Beach Avenue.
More than 100 youth were there celebrating the end of school.
RCMP say most co-operated, but when police arrested one intoxicated youngster for urinating in somebody’s yard a group of young men got aggressive.
They’re expected to face charges that include assaulting a police officer.
