RCMP on the Sunshine Coast say a call about a distracted driver Tuesday, ended with a wanted man sitting in their cells.
Police say when they went to pull over the car on Gibsons Way the driver sped off, going too fast for police to safely pursue.
The car was later found parked in Wilson Creek, and RCMP say as they investigated further they were led to a man from Port Coquitlam.
He was wanted for violating court ordered conditions while awaiting trial on charges including attempted murder and armed robbery.
He’s being held in custody.
