Another Lantzville Councillor has resigned, and the province will have to step in to make sure the business of decision making in the District continues.
Graham Savage is the fourth Councillor to quit, leaving the District without enough Council members to legally hold meetings.
Mayor Colin Haime says the province has a couple of options.
In a statement at last night’s meeting Savage claimed Lantzville has been on a continuous decline for 6 months and he wants the province to step in.
Haime, though, questions the motives of the departed Councillors.
As well as the high profile Council resignations, Lantzville has also seen the departure of top staff members since last fall’s election amid accusations of a dysfunctional and disrespectful atmosphere at District Hall.
