Nanaimo RCMP have arrested a Campbell River man wanted in connection with a major homicide investigation in Grand Prairie, Alberta.

The RCMP Major Crimes Unit was on the hunt for 30-year-old Tommy Vernon Paul.

Grand Prairie RCMP Corporal Roy Kennedy says Paul was arrested this afternoon in Nanaimo, while biking along Haliburton Street.

Paul is wanted in connection with the death of Adrian Snider, after human remains were found just outside Grand Prairie earlier this week.

Two other suspects in the case are also in custody, and the investigation is continuing.
