If you’ve ever thought about adopting a rabbit, now would be a good time to call the Nanaimo & District branch of the BC SPCA.
Executive Director Leon Davis says they seized 50 rabbits from a property in Nanaimo on Friday after an animal cruelty investigation.
Davis says they typically only have space for two rabbits, so they’re hoping to find loving homes for these bunnies pretty quickly.
He says 14 have already been transferred to nearby SPCA shelters for adoption.
You can contact the Nanaimo & District Branch at (250) 758-8444.
