Nanaimo man sentenced to five years behind bars for liquor store robbery

A 21 -year-old Nanaimo man has been sentenced to five years in jail for his role in a robbery at the Terminal Park liquor store in January.

Sergeant Sheryl Armstrong says Michael Zabloski is ultimately facing six years behind bars.

Armstrong says a second man, 21-year-old Chance Nicol, was previously sentenced to two years for his involvement in the liquor store robbery.

Police have identified a third man but they haven’t laid charges against him. He’s in custody in another province for an unrelated offence.
