Howe Sound will soon be home to the “Sea to Sky Marine Trail”
Project Manager Gordon McKeever says, right now, the waters of the Sound don’t attract as many recreational canoers and kayakers as similar areas.
He says that’s because paddlers can only go so far in a day, and it’s almost impossible to do a tour around the Sound and have somewhere to camp every night.
McKeever says they’re working to add 7 more recreation sites, and have the whole network ready for paddlers in mid June.
