Nanaimo residents have a chance to learn some important skills tomorrow Saturday, during Water Safety Survival Day.
It’s happening at the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre.
Taz Hartwick, the City’s Aquatics Coordinator, says they’ll be teaching survival skills, and people will have a chance to try scuba diving, or try their hand at a hypothermia challenge.
Hartwick says there will also be a variety of activities for kids.
The cost is just regular admission to the Nanaimo Aquatics Centre. Water Safety Survival Day runs from 2-5pm.
