Some anxious Gibsons residents are hoping to get a stolen statue back.
They’ve taken to social media, as well as filing a report to RCMP, after a 2-metre tall hand carved Jesus was stolen from Gower Point Road near Gospel Rock
It likely happened the night March 14th.
One of the residents putting out the call for Jesus’ return tells Coast News the statue, “Was so enjoyed by the community and any one passing by driving, walking, biking through. it has had non stop traffic viewing”
