The Nanaimo Science and Sustainability Society is inviting families to their Science Saturday π Day Celebration.
The date corresponds with the digits of mathematical pi, which is 3.1415. NS3 is also marking the opening of their new Science Studio.
Executive Director Liz DeMattia says they’ll have lots of different activities happening at Departure Bay Elementary.
DeMattia says they’ll also have pizza for sale, and a pie walk, because pi day wouldn’t be complete without it.
The event runs from 10:00am-2:00pm and admission is by donation. Find out more online.
