Nanaimo RCMP have released pictures of the man who tried to rob the Super Save Gas on Wakesiah Ave.
It happened on Thursday, February 5 at 10:30 pm. The owner grabbed a baseball bat and hit the would-be thief, before chasing him out of the store.
Investigators say the suspect was wearing a “Sons of Anarchy” brand sweatshirt, inside out, during the robbery. The suspect was also wearing a ”Dragon” brand toque.
So far, no arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
