North Cowichan- Duncan RCMP is warning drivers to lock their doors after a man tried to get into the car of a woman who’d been forced to stop because another man was standing in the middle of the road.
The incident happened Sunday night on a rural road south of Chemainus.
In this case the woman did have her doors locked and the men were not able to get into the car. She was able to drive by the men and call police.
RCMP brought in a dog team and searched the area, but couldn’t find any sign of the suspects.
RCMPÂ are calling this an isolated incident.
