It’s not too late to submit your own design for Nanaimo’s Festival of Banners.
The painting process started Sunday at Nanaimo North Town Centre, and all the banners have to be finished by April 30th.
Coordinator Brenda Peck says it’s only $10 to create and paint a banner.
Peck says they’re doing 200 banners this year, and they’ll be put up around downtown Nanaimo in May.
