Magnitude 3.6 quake rumbles Sunshine Coast, felt in Nanaimo

No reports of damage, but lots of people felt an earthquake that struck north of Sechelt around 8:12 Saturday night.  Natural Resources Canada says no damage would be expected from a quake of this size and type.

NR Can puts the magnitude at 3.6.

You can read the report here.  Researchers are also asking anyone who felt the quake to fill out a report.  There’s an online form at the Earthquakes Canada website.
