Nanaimo RCMP are hoping to deliver a bag of Christmas presents to their rightful recipient.
On Wednesday, a bag of undelivered gifts was turned over to the RCMP. The white London Drugs bag was discovered at a Canada Post super box on Vista View Drive.
The gifts are wrapped and the tags say they’re from “Doug and Susan” to “Dad”.
“This is an odd one,” says Nanaimo RCMP Constable Gary O’Brien. “We think the gifts may have been stolen, and for whatever reason, the thief had a change of heart and decided to get rid of them.”
Investigators carefully opened each gift and recorded what was inside before re-wrapping them.
