A group of young politicians from across the provinceĀ is gathering in Lantzville to share their knowledge with other young people who want to throw their hats into the ring for the coming municipal elections.
In the 2011 election Lantzville Councillor Andrew Mostad was where those hopefuls are now.Ā Ā He says trying to get elected can be a daunting and difficult task, let alone the work that follows.
Mostad says the conference for budding politicians will hopefully give them a leg-up in their quest to become more involved in their own communities.
About 40 people have already signed up for the one-day conference, which is taking place at the Lantzville Legion.
