BC’s Seniors Advocate is going to be in Nanaimo Thursday, as she wraps up a tour of the Island Coastal region.
Isobel MacKenzie says she’s been trying to get out to as much of the province as she can since taking on the role last March.
She says as well as hearing what seniors have to say, she’s been explaining what her office does.
MacKenzie says housing and transportation are top issues wherever she goes… although the details are different for each community.
MacKenzie is holding a town hall tomorrow at 1:30 at the Oliver Woods Community Centre.
