The Nanaimo Airport is adding a new international route.

Kenmore Air will be offering 2 round trips per day between Nanaimo and Seattle starting March 3rd
Kenmore President Todd Banks says there’s definitely a demand for the new service, which will appeal to people wanting to head to the Emerald City for weekends, sporting events, or to connect to other U.S. or international destinations.
Kenmore will fly out of Boeing Field, which is about 15 minutes from downtown Seattle, and a short bus ride away from Sea-Tac International Airport. Kenmore will offer shuttles for passengers.
A flight from Nanaimo to Seattle will cost $206.50, with flights leaving daily at 6:45am and 2:20pm.
A third round trip in the future if there’s enough demand.
