Nanaimo RCMP have nabbed two suspects they think were behind numerous break-ins in the Townsite Rd area. Several apartment complexes were targeted. Some storage units and apartments were robbed and money was stolen from coin-operated washers and dryers.
Sgt. Sheryl Armstrong says they cracked the case early Monday morning.
Armstrong says they think the pair’s responsible for at least three other break-ins, including one where jewelry was taken.
A 25-year-old man has been remanded into custody and will be appearing in Nanaimo Provincial Court on Dec 24, 2014. The other suspect, a 17-year-old girl, was released.
