Two people are facing charges after Nanaimo RCMP searched a home and found guns and drugs.
Sgt. Sheryl Armstrong says they raided a home in the 500 block of Rosehill Street around 1:30am on Sunday, Dec 21. Officers seized two rifles, ammunition and drugs.
Armstrong says 27-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, both from Nanaimo, were arrested.
RCMP are recommending charges including Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Unsafe Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Prohibited Device and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
The pair have been released from custody and will be appearing in Nanaimo Provincial Court on March 31, 2015.
