If you’re travelling for shopping or family visits in the run-up to Christmas a BC Ferry is probably part of the plan.
Ferries has added sailings to the busiest routes, most are on the Swartz Bay – Tsawwassen run, but Horseshoe Bay – Nanaimo and Horeshoe Bay – Langdale are also getting some extra sailings. Deborah Marshall of BC Ferries says another thing they’re doing is “expanding” the schedule on those routes from the 21st to the 29th
As well as adding sailings, BC Ferries is cancelling the first round trip Christmas morning and New Year’s Day on the Langdale, Earls Cove, and Duke Point runs.
Here’s when to expect the busiest traffic on routes in our area:
Langdale – Horseshoe Bay
Departure Bay – Horseshoe Bay
Duke Point – Tsawwassen
