Consultations on highway safety and speed limits are coming to Nanaimo.
The Ministry of Transportation wants opinions on whether speed limits should be raised, how to deal with slow drivers and other safety issues as part of the rural Highway Safety and Speed Review.
The province is also getting some expert technical analysis on highway design.
ICBC, police, the Union of B.C. Municipalities, as well as other key stakeholders are also being asked for input.
The Nanaimo regional forum is at the Coast Bastion Inn from 5 to 8pm. Visit the Speed Review website for more.
