The Regional District of Nanaimo has cancelled a Local State of Emergency and Evacuation Order for Little Qualicum River Estates.
Geoff Garbutt, the RDN’s Manager of Community and Strategic Development, says residents can return home at their own discretion.
Garbutt says they’ll continue monitoring the situation in the area.
