On June 3rd, 2012, while on a training exercise with Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue, Angie Nemeth & Beatrice Sorenson paid the ULTIMATE price, for volunteering their time to keep our Coast’s safe. In their honor, 91.7 Coast FM and Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue present the 2014 Search & Rescue Memorial Calendar, featuring scenic photos of the Sunshine Coast & Vancouver Island, taken by our valued Coast FM listeners! Look for this fabulous calendar at local businesses on both sides of the Straight, as ALL proceeds from calendar sales support R-C-M ‘SAR’ fund equipment & training costs, helping keep us safe on the water, ALL year round.
