The Nanaimo Law Courts Annex was evacuated this morning (Fri).
A rooftop heating, ventilation and air conditioner unit exploded on the building in the 400 block of Albert Street just before 8 after a build up of natural gas.
About 12 people were in the building at the time.
No one was injured.
Damage was limited to the HVAC unit.
