All of the lower mainland police detachments are being asked to help with the BC Wildfires, including the Sunshine Coast one.
Staff Sergeant of the Sunshine Coast RCMP says they’ll be sending away officer every week now.
Mathura says it’ll be challenging for the local detachment here but they’re maintaining their minimum man power requirements to ensure service of liberty in the community.
Police on Vancouver Island are also helping out. Each detachment has to send 10 per cent of their resources
