Two brothers, playing with airsoft rifles, west of the Nanaimo airport got into some hot water this week.
The pair were spotted walking down the road in full camo gear with their rifles.
Someone called the RCMP who sent out an Emergency Response Team, service dogs and even the RCMP helicopter to look for the 18 and 23 year olds.
Roadblocks had also been set up.
The brothers, who found out about the police presence after getting back home, turned themselves in.
They were asked by police to be a bit more discreet while playing airsoft and not walk along the road carrying their guns.
