LED light open house

Switching the high pressure sodium streetlights to LED could save the City of Nanaimo 200,000 dollars per year.
That’s according to a consultants report on the idea.
Jamie Rose, Nanaimo’s Acting Transportation Manager says an open house will be held on the topic because in some locations the switch has been controversial….

Rose says the consultant has determined there are spectrums to avoid when it comes to LED lights.
The open house is set for next Tuesday at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre from 8:00 to 10:00.
