The candidate nomination period for the upcoming Provincial Election is now closed.

There are 371 candidates representing 18 registered political parties.

The final list in the Nanaimo/North Cowichan constituency has 4 candidates in the running.
The Liberals Alana DeLong, the NDP incumbent Doug Routley, Lia Versaevel for the B.C. Greens and Anna Padden, as an independent.
For the Nanaimo riding, incumbent Leonard Krog is running along with the Liberals Paris Gaudette, the Greens Kathleen Harris and Libertarian, Bill Walker.
In Parksville/Qualicum, Liberal incumbent Michelle Stilwell will be on the ballot along with the NDP’s Sue Powell, the Greens Glen Sollitt and Terry Hand is representing the B.C. Refederation Party.
On the Sunshine Coast, incumbent NDP Nicolas Simons, the Liberals Mathew Wilson, the Green’s Kim Darwin and the B.C. Cascadia Party candidate Rueben Richards will be on the ballot.
