More than $17 million is being set aside for capital projects in the Sunshine Coast Regional District this year.
Chief Financial Officer Tina Perrault says the two projects that had a significant impact on the capital budget are the Chapman Lake water expansion and the universal water metering program.
Perrault says this is one of their larger capital budgets since they constructed their community recreational facilities back in 2007.
