Children and two adults escape injury

Simon Pidcock and two of his captains jumped into action yesterday evening when they noticed a small boat in Cowichan Bay doing donuts at full speed.
After further investigation, the group from Ocean Eco Adventures Whale Watching found two adults and a toddler had been ejected from their boat after accidentally hitting the throttle while reaching for a crab trap. After the water rescue, Pidcock says they focused their attention to the boat.
Pidcock says they contacted the coast guard and emergency services immediately and the man and his brother were treated for hypothermia. He believes the two adults and two children are recovering well.
