The Sunshine Coast Regional District’s CAO was presented with a plaque for winning the FCM’s International Awards of Excellence this week.
Janette Loveys says she’s honoured to win the award and shared some of her experiences while working with government officials in China.
She says seeing governments in other countries use the local economic tools they’re introducing and also seeing the legacy pieces you can leave there is the biggest reward.
